If you've seen a lot of smoke on the north side on Saturday, you're not alone. It's got the San Antonio Fire Department's attention too.

SAFD says that they are monitoring the "wildland fire" burning on the Camp Bullis property.

They say that the fire has not affected any homes or other structures but they have units and other measures in place to ensure the safety of the residents in the area until the fire no longer poses a threat.

Here is what SAFD posted to Facebook on Saturday evening:

A wildland fire is currently burning on the Camp Bullis property in north San Antonio. San Antonio Fire Department currently has units in place in the area, specifically to the southwest of the fire, in case this fire presents any danger to homes or other structures in this area. Our crews are utilizing both natural and man made (roads) fire breaks in the area as well as being in place with firefighting apparatus to ensure that residents in this area will not be in any danger. These SAFD crews will remain in place until the threat of the fire has subsided.
