The wet roads may have caused a pickup truck driver to crash into a house early Tuesday morning, according to Bexar County deputies.
Around 4:30 a.m., a 19-year-old man driving a white pickup truck lost control on Heights Valley near Converse. He ran up on the curb, barreled through a fence and slammed into the side of the home on Hikers Hollow.
The truck ended up halfway into the living room. Deputies say there were people home at the time of the crash, but no one was hurt. The truck driver was also not hurt.
It took Converse fire crews about half an hour to chisel away part of the home and knock down the fence to get the truck out.
The truck driver will not be facing any charges.
