A late-night food run ended with a woman dead on the northwest side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
At 3:05 am Wednesday morning, SAPD was called to the Seven Oaks Apartments in the 5900 block of Danny Kaye Drive where a man and woman were shot multiple times.
SAPD said the pair was just returning home after grabbing a bite to eat when they were confronted by another male who began firing a gun at them.
The woman was shot multiple times. The male victim was shot in the foot.
Both were transported to University Hospital and the female victim was pronounced dead at 3:45 am.
The shooter was last reported on the run.
