Dare to Dance?

We all love to do it whether we're good at it or not...but imagine as a child, if you couldn't without some type of support.

Shortly after a California couple tied the knot, Christina and Josh Smallwood found out that pregnancy could be difficult, so they turned to adoption and adopted Finley at birth.

Finley was born 9-weeks premature and is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

She loves to dance, but can't move without some type of assistance.

Recently, the couple found out Finley was a candidate for a selective surgery that could potentially give her the ability to walk again in the future.

After seeing a video of mom and Finley dancing on social media, a family friend suggested a fun, crowd funding challenge to help with some of the surgery costs.

We are DARING YOU ALL to DANCE for FIFI!!! If you do not fulfill this dare within 24 hours, you must donate $20 to the @daretodancechallenge! Or you can always dance AND donate!!!! Finleys favorite song is @meghan_trainor "better when I'm dancing" #daretodancechallenge #forfifi (www.doyoudaretodance.com)

Quickly after, the "Dare to Dance" challenge took off across social media.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and the Covina Police Department are the latest to accept and complete the challenge:
