SAN ANTONIO — Northside ISD is offering free breakfast and lunch to students during spring break.
The spring break feeding program offers nutritional foods like fruit, milk, and a sandwich to kids at no cost all week. Two schools are offering the meals, Martin Elementary and Mary Hull Elementary
The free meals are not limited to students who attend the schools. Children from other communities are welcome to participate.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to noon. The meals must be eaten at the school, and "to go" meals will not be offered.
Kids will also be able to take advantage of open gym, outdoor activities and arts and crafts between breakfast and lunch.
