The effects of a late-season storm that has sent numerous northeastern states and counties into a “snow emergency” were being felt all over the United States Tuesday.
Airports across the nation were announcing delays and closures as snowstorms pounded the northeast.
Even as many areas began to come out of snow emergency status, San Antonio was seeing dozens of delays and closures.
The San Antonio International Airport announced Tuesday that the impact included 62 delays and 20 cancelations over the past two days.
In a statement, SAT said:
We are sensitive to the weather conditions in the Northeast and as of today we have had some impact at San Antonio International Airport. This impact included 62 delays and 20 cancelations over the past two days. We are encouraging anyone traveling to please check with their airlines for any delays or cancelations.
