Police say a man drove himself to a gas station with a gunshot wound to the back of the head after an altercation at a party on the south side.
Police said around 2 am Sunday, the victim was involved in an altercation at a party before driving himself to a shell gas station at Interstate 37 and Southton Road at for help.
The victim was transported to SAMMC to treat the gunshot wound to the back of his head.
Investigators searched the area for tips on the shooting at the nearby party.
The victim is expected to survive. He has only been identified as a Hispanic male in his 20s.
No arrests have been made.
