KENS 5 received a call from a Judson ISD employee Thursday afternoon stating that summer staff would not be paid on time for their July monthly payment.
The delayed payment is reportedly a result of an error made by the district over the July 4th holiday, according to Steve Linscomb, the district’s director of communication.
Linscomb said the district’s ‘signed supplemental pay documents’ arrived late to the business officer for timely processing.
JISD staff were supposed to be paid on July 14, but will instead be paid on July 19.
Linscomb said, “We regret any issues this may have caused. This district appreciates the work that you are doing with our students during the summer and we are doing everything we can to correct this situation and make sure it doesn’t happen in the future. Thank you for your patience.”
