SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after causing two accidents on Interstate 10 Wednesday morning.
According to police, the man was in an accident at the cloverleaf at Loop 1604 and I-10 early Wednesday.
The hit-and-run driver sped away from the scene eastbound on I-10 with no lights on. He tried to take the exit at I-10 and De Zavala Road eastbound when his car went airborne, according to police.
The man crashed and caused a chain reaction involving three other cars and other minor accidents on I-10 East. There were minimal to no injuries involving other drivers, according to police.
The driver was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
