A high-speed pursuit ended in a crash on the east side of San Antonio Thursday morning.
According to the Bexar County Sherrif's Office, deputies tried to stop a black Nissan Altima but the driver refused to stop.
At least six BCSO units were in pursuit of the vehicle when the driver crashed into a Chevy Avalanche near Interstate 10 and Martin Luther King Drive and Pecan Valley.
Deputies were searching for the driver who escaped on foot wearing a blue t-shirt and black short
BCSO Sgt. Wes Anderson said the driver was going 71 mph in a 30 mph zone. Authorities on scene said that minor injuries were reported in the crash.
