When the Final Four takes over downtown San Antonio from March 30 to April 2, there will be so many things to see and do. The Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One will fill the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center with sports and entertainment.
The Final Four Fan Fest promises interactive games, special celebrity and athlete appearances, as well as autograph signings, cheer clinics and a rock climbing wall. The NCAA championship trophy will also be available for selfies before it is awarded to the national championship on Monday, April 2.
Special events include a pep rally and viewing parties for the national semifinal games on Saturday, March 31.
There’s also the Final Four of the Managers’ Games, in which student-managers from four schools will compete in their own tournament at Fan Fest. Managers’ Games are a tradition around college basketball, where the volunteer student managers for the teams meet for a game the night before the official NCAA basketball game. Managers assist in practices, the video room, on gameday, and in many other aspects of the day-to-day operation of college basketball programs.
More events and details about the Fan Fest are available online.
Tickets are $8 for adults if you buy in advance. The price goes up to $10 on March 16. Children 12 and under get free admission. Military members with valid ID also get free admission, and seniors get discounted $5 tickets. On Friday, March 30, college students with valid ID will get in free to Fan Fest.
There are a few special offers for Capital One cardholders, including two free tickets, priority entry, and an hour of early access on Friday and Saturday.
