SAN ANTONIO - A gunman leaves two men wounded on the city's south side.

The incident happened Tuesday night just before 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Petaluma Boulevard.

According to police, a group of people were talking when it escalated to an argument followed by a fight.

The fight moved from outside the house to the inside where the gunman shot one man in the face and pistol whipped the other, according to police. The second victim suffered a head injury and a dislocated shoulder.

Both victims were transported to University Hospital and are expected to be okay.

Witnesses and the possible suspect were taken in for interviews.

Police said the investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
