SAN ANTONIO – Police are seeking the identity of a driver who hit a man and took him to the hospital in August.

Police said the driver of a white Chevy Tahoe hit a man along Somerset Road on Aug. 20.

The driver of the SUV went back to the scene, picked the victim up and took him to Baptist Emergency Hospital on South Zarzamora.

Police said he left the hospital without ever giving his information to the victim.

The driver is described as a Hispanic man with short brown hair and a goatee. Police said he is approximately 5’10” weighting around 250 pounds. He was also wearing a gray polo shirt and dark colored knee-length shorts with gray high-top sneakers the night of the incident.

If you know who or where the driver is, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP. Information that leads to an arrest could be worth up to a $5,000 reward.
