A crash on Highway 90 near Nogalitos Street ended fatally for one driver.

Traffic has been reduced to two lanes and should completely open back up by 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to San Antonio police.

SAPD said the driver of a white sedan lost control of his vehicle while traveling westbound on Highway 90 not far from Cupples Road.

The driver slammed into a meridian and was ejected from the vehicle. He was killed on impact.

The accident caused an 18-wheeler to crash into the white sedan and another black pick up to slam into the wreckage.

The San Antonio Fire Department had to use the jaws of life on the white sedan to ensure no one else was inside the car.

Police believe the victim was killed after being ejected from the vehicle and not by the secondary collision.

Investigators are still waiting on an official ruling from the medical examiner.

The victim has not been identified.
