The snow is gone, but the chilly temperatures made for the perfect evening for a Christmas parade. Hundreds of people lined the streets in Helotes for its Cowboy Christmas parade.
Lisa Madla had a float in the parade. She owns Ranch Kids, which is an at-home daycare.
"We have a chuck-wagon that has all the lights," she said. "We have a Christmas tree."
The parade featured several floats, including a fire truck, a group of motorcycles, and even a vehicle with a cheetah on top.
Helotes has that small-town charm and is alive this time of year.
"I love the Christmas spirit in Helotes," Madla said. "I am very blessed to be a part of the community."
It was a night to remember for those who saddled up and made their way to see the grand spectacle.
"We wish everybody a Merry Christmas," she said.
