The streets of San Antonio are a little busier than usual this week, as the city is preparing to host one of the biggest college football games in the country. With so many tourists in town, businesses are seeing a lot of new faces.
"It's definitely been crazy this week because of the holidays and the upcoming Alamo Bowl game [Thursday]. I've definitely noticed a significant increase in business this time around." Fourth generation 'La Familia Restaurants' family member William Cortez said.
Fans coming into town can check out one of the many landmarks, restaurants and shops San Antonio is known for.
For TCU head football coach, Gary Patterson, the hospitality is one of the team's favorite things to see upon its return.
"The people here the two times we've been here have really just treated us... It's unbelievable. It's a great time in the holiday season to be [in] San Antonio," Patterson said.
