A man is arrested after accused of forcing his way into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulting her back in April.

SAN ANTONIO — A man is arrested after accused of forcing his way into a woman's apartment and sexually assaulting her back in April, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

The incident occurred at an apartment on Overlook Parkway in the Stone Oak area.

Salazar says the woman woke up around 4 a.m. and saw 29-year-old, Gino Anthony Bonocini, in front of her apartment door. Salazar says the woman recognized Bonocini as a frequent visitor of the apartment complex.

Investigators were able to obtain a warrant for a mouth swab on June 7th that matched the DNA collected from the investigation, Salazar says.

According to Salazar, a relative of Bonicini called investigators after he allegedly told her he sexually assaulted the woman.

Deputies are asking for any other potential victims to step forward.
