SAN ANTONIO – Does your dog love walks but sometimes you get too busy to take them out? Fear not because your dogs will be ‘wag’-ing their tails after you download San Antonio’s newest dog-walking app.

According to a press release, Wag! is the nation’s number one walking and dog sitting app for busy dog owners. The app has made its way to the Alamo City as part of the company’s plan for growth across the nation.

And what better place for dog walkers then the River Walk?

“We are proud to expand our services to these pet-loving cities across the country,” Josh Viner, co-founder of Wag! said. “Dog owners can now have peace of mind that their dog can be walked by a safe and trusted walker, even in a pinch.”

With Wag!, dog walkers can be notified with as little as a 30 minutes’ notice. If you’re a nervous pet parent, you can track your precious pup’s walk via GPS through the app. A ‘pup report’ is also delivered at the end of each walk along with a picture or video of your pet, a map of their route and full disclosure on exactly when and where your pet did their business.

“As many pet lovers are also busy with professional and social responsibilities, it only makes sense to provide them with services that can ease the stress of pet ownership with the touch of a button,” Viner said in a press release.

Viner was inspired to create Wag! after his own hesitancy to take on a pet especially his busy schedule as a tech entrepreneur in Los Angeles. Viner founded Wag! In 2015 with the mission to make it easier to own and care for a dog.
