A teen wanted in connection to an Alaskan deadly home invasion has been arrested in the San Antonio area.

Yurel Allen Nichols, 18, was arrested Thursday by members of the US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Converse, TX.

Nichols was taken into custody without incident after being spotted in surveillance footage standing in the parking lot of apartments in the 700 block of Station Street.

The victim, 40-year-old Paula Zorawski, was allegedly shot in the head moments after opening her front door to Nichols and 4 other teen suspects on September 22.

Zorawski was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died of her injuries.

Alonzo Tofpi Steward, 19, Savon Berry, 18, Michael Fitzgerald, 18, and Tommy Hunter Higgs III, 18, were all in custody for the murder within days of the shooting. Nichols remained at large until his arrest Thursday.

Nichols is currently being held in custody at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office awaiting extradition back to Anchorage.
