SAN ANTONIO -- An arrest is made in connection with a deadly shooting, where the story has apparently changed several times.
Overnight, 19-year-old Fabian Pena was arrested on capital murder charge.
The shooting happened on Oct. 11 at the corner of Lombardo and North Sabinas Street.
Investigators say that is where the victim, 37-year-old Angelo Polendo, was shot and then run over just before he died.
Polendo lured Pena to the corner to make a drug deal, according to police. Police said Pena waved down police as they arrived and claimed he had been shot at along with Polendo.
Investigators said a witness came forward claiming Pena admitted to shooting the victim while he robbed him and then ran over him with his car.
Polendo was found alive at the scene but died a short time later.
Pena is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail.
