SAN ANTONIO -- A man who was involved in a deadly head-on crash this weekend is facing multiple charges, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
Justin Fey, 49, of New Braunfels is charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, two counts of intoxication assault and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The Fort Sam Houston public affairs department told KENS 5 that Fey is a sergeant with the Fort Sam Houston Police Department.
Public affairs director Todd White also said Fey has worked as a civilian security forces member.
The crash happened Saturday on Loop 1604 near FM 1346 in east Bexar County.
Two cars reportedly slammed into each other head-on after one of the vehicles veered into oncoming traffic.
A man and woman in one car died soon after impact. Three children were hurt in the crash, according to BCSO. The children are all expected to survive.
Fey's bond was set to $325,000.
