According to the San Antonio Police Department, a 29-year-old woman is in serious condition at University Hospital after being shot in the face on Saturday evening.
The shooting happened around 8:25 at the 300 block of NW 25th St. on the city’s west side.
Police are describing the incident as a drive-by shooting.
SAPD says that there were 10 people in the house, that the family had been living in for less than a month, all watching football when a car drove by and fired four shots.
A 6-year-old boy was also struck in the neck by one of the shots, police say.
Police are looking for a small four-door vehicle with new headlights in relation to the shooting.
SAPD says that the incident was likely a random act of violence.
