Neighbors described a horrific scene at the Astoria Apartment complex where three people were stabbed on Saturday morning.

Hours after the attack, investigators were still processing the complex scene on the 9300 block of Perrin Beitel on the northeast side.

Fire officials say that three people were rushed to hospitals priority one, which means the possibility of life-threatening injuries.

Neighbors say that the parking lot attack happened in front of witnesses.

“There's quite a bit of children that play in the parking lots here, and those poor children witnessed it all too and they just left here very disturbed,” said one woman, who didn’t want to be identified.

Several neighbors who watched police at work said that one man stabbed two others and then a third person who tried to save the first two.

Later, police announced that 31-year-old James Martin Mosco was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and his bond has been set at $30,000 per charge.
