SAN ANTONIO -- Police said a man is wanted for murder in connection with the stabbing of his roommate's ex-boyfriend.

The San Antonio Police Department said the suspect and his roommate live in the Park on Bandera apartment complex.

Investigators said the woman's ex-boyfriend was banging on their door around 11 p.m. Thursday.

When her roommate tried to tell him to leave, police said the argument evolved into a fight.

The fight turned into a murder investigation after SAPD said the man stabbed the woman's ex-boyfriend.

The 22-year-old suspect left the scene, according to police. It also did not appear that the victim was armed.

The victim's identity has not been released. Police said he is in his 30s.
