SAN ANTONIO -- A fight between two women evolved into a shootout Monday, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Three men were shot in the 4000 block of East Southcross Boulevard, SAPD said.
Police said two women were involved in an argument when one of the women got three additional men involved in the incident. That's when police said the shootout started.
One victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Not long after that, two shooting suspects showed up at Northeast Baptist Hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. Police connected them to the shooting scene and both were transferred to separate hospitals for treatment, police said.
The suspect with a leg wound was released to SAPD. The other suspect remains in the hospital for treatment.
Police identified Jodeci Clayton, 20, as one of the suspects and he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
