A 50-year-old man was charged with capital murder in the death of a 48-year-old woman and an 11-year-old girl on the northwest side early Saturday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The 11-year-old girl was identified as Azriah Gonzalez. The cause of her death is listed as multiple blunt force injuries including chop wounds.
SAPD said Casey Farell Marshall called them around 5:29 am on Saturday and told them that he had killed two people at a home in the 9100 block of Beaudine Avenue.
Investigators said the two were brutally struck with some sort of 'hand tool' that caused blunt force trauma and lacerations.
Both victims were found on the bathroom floor and pronounced dead at the scene when first responders arrived early Saturday morning.
The name of the woman has not been released, but she was reportedly Marshall's girlfriend.
