At under three feet tall, one boy is sitting shotgun, going zero to 60 in three seconds. On Friday, a boy battling a life-threatening illness took a spin in a Ferrari to take his mind of treatment, thanks to the local non-profit

That morning, little Godric was living the dream.

“I’m riding in a Ferrari today!” he exclaimed.

While he’s not behind the wheel, at only 5 years old, he's endured more pain and suffering than the average adult. But instead of a hospital bed and IV, Godric only has one thing on his brain: cruising with the CEO of the non-profit, Manuel Diotte.

Diotte says that his charity has served 1,000 kids and, to top it off, this is the fifth year for the organization's Children's Charity Ball.

The ball will be held on November 11 with KENS 5 reporter Karen Grace serving as the emcee. For more information about the ball and to learn how you can help in other ways with the charity, you can visit their official website here.
