JCPenney stores in San Antonio will not be among those shutting their doors in the company’s latest round of closures. But that San Antonio area was not completely spared.
The JCPenney at King Plaza Shopping Center in Seguin is on the list. It will be among the 138 stores to close across the country.
Nine of the closures will be in Texas. Here’s a link to the complete list of store closures.
The company says that this will help them save at least $200 million in annual costs.
The Plano-based retailer said that the stores will close in the second quarter which, for them, ends in July.
