SAN ANTONIO - Texas wildflowers and bluebonnet season is in the forecast and already you can see some of the best spots around town.
You may have noticed them popping up along highways, but the highways aren't always the safest places to pull over to snap that traditional family photo.
So where is a good family friendly spot? Fields.
Fields that are away from fast moving traffic like Granbury Hills, a wedding venue, on the far-northeast side near Interstate 35 and O'Connor Road.
We're told the field is far enough away from event locations that will not disturb weddings.
Right now, they said there's only a small patch, but in the next few weeks, bluebonnets will be all over state parks around San Antonio including the Guadalupe River State Park and Blanco State Park.
