Six Flags Fiesta Texas Fright Fest
September 15 to October 31
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is bringing the scares earlier this year as it begins on Friday, Sept. 15. This year’s larger and longer Fright Fest brings 24 nights of thrills and scares with two new haunted houses and two new live shows. Haunted houses are free with your daily park admission.
To purchase your Fright Fest tickets, visit Six Flag’s Fright Fest Website. The scares will be happening on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Oct. 29. Fright Fest will also happen on Thursday, Oct. 26, Monday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31.
13th Floor Haunted House
September 22 to Halloween
The world-famous 13th Floor Haunted House is bringing the nightmares this year. Opening on Friday, Sept. 22, be ready to grab your closest friend to shield you from the scares. This year experience the Cursed: The Ritual where the hamlet of Blackmore has been overtaken by werewolves. If that wasn’t scary enough, you’ll also experience Biohazard where a toxic sludge has seeped into underground water plants and sewers, giving life to creatures of the night.

SeaWorld San Antonio’s Howl-O-Scream
September 29 to October 29
SeaWorld San Antonio is back with the scares at their Howl-O-Scream. Starting on Friday, Sept. 29, Howl-O-Scream will unleash fears, frights, and nightmares with an all-new Dark Side of the Gardens Haunted House, scare zones, and thrilling live shows. For 15 nights, Howl-O-Scream offers guests more than 30 acres of tormenting surprises and unexpected terrors. Haunted houses and scare zones are included with regular SeaWorld admission.
To purchase your Howl-O-Scream tickets, visit SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream Website. The thrills will be happening on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Oct. 29. Gates will open at 10 a.m. for kid-friendly Halloween fun with Howl-O-Scream beginning around 7 p.m.
Psycho Asylum Haunted House
September 30 to Halloween
Psycho Asylum opens its doors for new patients this season. Starting on Saturday, Sept. 30, you can visit the asylum in downtown San Antonio to learn about the history of the patients who still haunted its hallowed halls. Bring a friend to shield you from the lost souls. While there, you can also visit San Antonio’s Slaughter House, the sister haunted house to the Asylum.
To purchase your Asylum Haunted House tickets, visit Psycho Asylum San Antonio Website. The ghosts open their doors on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Halloween. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 25, the Asylum will be open every day through Halloween.
