Beautiful – The Carole King Musical

The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway musical is coming to the Alamo City. The show is based on the inspiring true story of Carole King’s rise to stardom from being part of a hit songwriting team with, to her relationship with fellow writers, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history.

Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience

Westeros is coming to the Alamo City for one night only. The show that has already wowed thousands across the country, Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience will be at the AT&T Center Thursday night. The performance is brought to you by Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi as he takes you on a magical journey through the Thrones world with his world-renowned orchestra. So whether you are Team Stark or Team Targaryen, you don’t want to miss this show.

Murphy’s St. Patrick’s Day River Parade and Festival

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and it’ll be filled with music, fun, and lots of green! Starting at noon on the 17th will be the 50th presentation honoring the Irish heroes present at the battle of the Alamo. At 1 p.m. the San Antonio River will be dyed green and renamed The River Shannon for the weekend. Right after at 2 p.m. will begin Murphy’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival that will last through Saturday along with the river parade! Don’t miss out on all the fun!

H-E-B Big League Weekend

It’s a showdown for the ages coming to the Alamodome this weekend with the American League Champion Cleveland Indians take on the American League West Division Champion Texas Rangers. This is the 5th Annual H-E-B Big League Weekend that offers fun for the entire family. In addition to two spring training exhibition games, there is a Fan Fest that takes place prior to both games just outside the main doors to the stadium. So baseball fans, don’t miss out!

Houston Rodeo

Missing the rodeo already? Have no fear because Houston’s Rodeo is now open for business. Just like San Antonio, Houston’s two-week extravaganza is back with their own Livestock Show and Rodeo as well as concerts from chart-topping artists. The headliners kicking off Houston Rodeo this weekend include Luke Bryan, Fifth harmony, Willie Nelson, Banda El Recodo and Siggno.
