Fiesta kicks off Thursday and the San Antonio International Airport is getting the celebration started early with a small preview of the 10 day-long event.
For three days, passengers flying in and out of San Antonio International Airport will be greeted with bright beads, music, flamenco dancers, and a variety of other entertainment.
"San Antonio is a friendly city, and sometimes that experience starts when you get off the plane," said Tonya Hope with the San Antonio International Airport.
Nearly 100 organizations across the city host Fiesta events over the course of two weeks. The San Antonio tradition generates more than $280 Million for the local economy.
"There are visitors coming into San Antonio International Airport," Hope said. 'We're not sure if they're here for Fiesta or just to vacation or business travel, but we want to give them the experience."
