SAN ANTONIO - Fiesta medals are a hot commodity around these parts this time of year and they can be made for just about anything or anyone.
On Thursday, we took a look at varies pieces San Antonio has to offer.
South Texas Radiology Imaging Center: They work heavily with the Cattle Baron's Gala which works to raise money for the American Cancer Society. This medal can be purchased at the Fiesta Store or the local chapter of the American Cancer Society for $10. The gala will be held on October 14.
La Prensa and Heartfire Media: Their medal is a parody of Pen Pineapple. Te medals are on sale for $10 at the La Prensa's location on Camaron Street.
Desert Texas Gala Days: The cost is $15 and can be bought at El Tropicana River Walk Hotel starting April 20.
Mission Kayak: Their first medal features their logo and 230 were made. The only way you can get one is if you book a trip with them.
Valero Texas Open: Their medal can be purchased at the Birdies for Charity donation station in Gatorade Fan Fest during the tournament.
Big Red: This is a limited edition medal and only 250 were made by the makers of the best-selling red soda. The medal was actually designed by local high school student Joely Montoya when she entered a contest and fans online voted for it. Montoya’s design inspiration was the game of Mexican Lotería, enjoyed by generations of Hispanics.
Cotton Candy Creationz: You can purchase a medal for $5 and get a free cotton candy.
Fiesta Carnival: It is the first ever scratch and sniff medal and available for purchase at the Fiesta Store for $12.
