SAN ANTONIO - Hard to believe it but this year marks the 20th anniversary of the ‘Selena' movie starring Jennifer Lopez.
It's only proper to celebrate the movie that has helped the late Tejano superstar's legacy live on.
The Rolling Roadshow is throwing not a one, but a two-night party to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the iconic film.
It will take place on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 at the historic Sunset Station in downtown San Antonio.
The location, in case you didn't know, has special meaning to the late Tejano singer and the movie.
Selena filmed her music video for "No Me Queda Mas" inside the Sunset Station on their large staircase. The location was also used in a scene of the movie where Jennifer Lopez, as Selena, walked during a fashion show scene.
The two-night event promises to be a fun one for Selena fans. There will even be a Bidi Bidi Banda cover band and a look-alike contest.
Tickets can be found online and range from $15 to $50.
