Friday morning Councilwoman Delicia Herrera, District 6, handed out backpacks filled with school supplies to students at Westwood Terrace Elementary at 2315 Huckamore Lane. The students took part in the "Think Green" awareness campaign. Students created posters, wrote poems and made other art work to bring awareness to recycling. During the presentation students showed off their hard work.
