According to the National Weather Service, there’s a strong chance of a mix of freezing rain and sleet in certain parts of South Texas including Bexar County and surrounding counties.

The areas of concern are north, east, and west of Bexar County as the line drawn by the National Weather Service goes right through San Antonio and areas south of the city aren’t expected to be impacted by the severe weather.

NWS says that the impact will happen early Tuesday afternoon. Expect to see wind gusts as high as 30 miles per hour with the temperature staying at or below freezing.

On Tuesday, be sure to be aware of traffic conditions as road closures and accidents are expected to affect travel that day.
